MADISON, Wis. - The number of positive cases of COVID-19 in Wisconsin rose by 402 Monday, April 12, state health officials reported, for a total of 585,710.
Officials with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services reported three new deaths Monday, with a total of 6,680 deaths in the state.
Of the positive cases, 28,174 have required hospitalization (4.8%), while 570,358 have recovered (97.4%), making for 8,428 active cases (1.4%).
More than 2.7 million have been tested.

MADISON (WXOW) In Monday s update, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services said nearly 33,000 La Crosse County residents are done with the COVID-19 vaccination process.
The DHS figures show that 51,571 people or 43.7 percent of residents of La Crosse County have had at least one dose of the vaccine. 32,856 people in La Crosse County or 27.8 percent completed the vaccine series according to the state.
Numbers from DHS show 2,175,782 people in the state have received at least one dose of the vaccine. That translates to 37.4 percent of state residents according to DHS. The figures show that 1,423,723 people, or 24.5 percent of the state s population, are now fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
