OAK CREEK, IL – Police and fire personnel will be able to receive the COVID-19 vaccination next week, officials have announced.
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services announced Monday police and fire personnel will be eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine beginning Jan. 18.
According to the Department of Health Services, there are 1,098 organizations that are registered and available to distribute the COVID-19 vaccine across the state. Local health departments will lead the vaccination of police and fire personnel, as well as Emergency Medical Services and unaffiliated health care providers.
