As of Tuesday, a total of 5,843,610 vaccines have been administered throughout Wisconsin; an increase of over 6,000 from the day before.
So far, 52.1 percent of Wisconsinites have gotten at least one dose of the vaccine, and 49.5 percent of the state has completed the vaccine series.

“At the end of the day, this is solvable folks. We can solve it by getting shots and that’s important,” said Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers.
There are 310 people hospitalized right now for COVID-19 in Wisconsin.
Eau Claire and Chippewa counties are now at a high level of community transmission.
And the CDC now lists La Crosse and Vernon counties as having substantial levels of spread.

With a crowd of about 100,000 fans packed in the Deer District, cheering on the Milwaukee Bucks last month, the game not only produced a long-awaited NBA championship, but also a much-dreaded surge in the number COVID-19 cases across the state.
Milwaukee Health Commissioner Kirsten Johnson said the contact tracing and testing for cases associated with Deer District gatherings are ongoing. She said the Milwaukee Health Department has been working closely with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services and has identified almost 500 cases statewide, including Milwaukee, Dane, Ozaukee and Waukesha counties.
The state Department of Health Services reported that 491 people with confirmed or probable cases said they had attended the Deer District or Bucks game during their exposure or infectious periods but the department could not say definitively that they caught the virus while viewing the game downtown or elsewhere.

Kenosha County Public Heath is reporting 16,268 total positive COVID-19 test results in Kenosha County as of Tuesday. That’s 58 more than Monday. That’s the first instance of 50 or more new daily positives since March 30. There have been 316 COVID-19 deaths in Kenosha County. Kenosha County Public Health is reporting 83,758 negative test results.
Wisconsin Department of Health Services is reporting a positive rate of 9,692/100,000 people and a 2 percent case fatality rate in Kenosha County as of Tuesday.
In Kenosha County, 46.77 percent of the population has had at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 44.10 percent are fully vaccinated as of Tuesday, reports Kenosha County Public Health.
