The police officer who shot Jacob Blake in Kenosha in August will not be charged with a crime, Kenosha County District Attorney Michael Graveley announced Tuesday.

While county officials have opted not to file criminal charges, the Blake family will not stop fighting for justice. Moving forward, the Blakes plan to continue the fight for justice on Capitol Hill, in the courtroom and in the streets.

Jacob Blake s family, activists hold Kenosha vigil
Authorities have not yet announced if the Kenosha police officer who shot Blake will be charged.
KENOSHA, Wis. - It has been nearly four months since a Kenosha police officer shot Jacob Blake; video of that moment sparked days of unrest.
The district attorney has not yet announced if that officer, Rusten Sheskey, will face charges in the Aug. 23 shooting. Impatience is growing in the community.
