Liz Cheney (R-WY), pushing a bill that would empower establishment media outlets, and lobbying for a green card giveaway bill that would substantially benefit big tech.
Freedom Caucus and Republican staffers denounced Buck as he continued to defend the controversial Cheney. Republicans have criticized Cheney for continuing to attack former President Donald Trump and his America First platform, contradicting House Republican leadership, and serving as a distraction from Republicans’ mission to take back the House during the 2022 midterm elections.

US House of Representatives Republicans on Wednesday voted to remove Liz Cheney from their leadership, punishing her for criticising former President Donald Trump’s false claims that last year’s election was stolen from him through election fraud.
Cheney, the daughter of former Vice-President Dick Cheney, voted in January to impeach Trump on a charge that he incited an insurrection at the US Capitol on January 6.
