Social Share Attorney General Dale Marshall has been tasked with providing the Mia Mottley administration with a legal opinion on the civil and criminal liability associated with aspects of mandatory vaccination and mandatory testing for COVID-19. And the results of that paper will set the table for a series of sectoral and national consultations on the way forward as Government tries to find a solution to the vexing problem of respecting people’s rights to choose whether they want to be vaccinated, the overall health of the nation and getting the economy back on track as more employers are making vaccination a requirement for employment.

Social Share The Sons Of God Apostolic Church in Ealing Grove, Christ Church threw a special luncheon for the 73 hurricane victims currently living on the compound. The victims are staying in an apartment complex offered by the church while they try to make alternative arrangements and pick up the pieces of their lives. Yesterday, the church took their generosity a step further by offering a free buffet style luncheon which was attended by Minister of Home Affairs Wilfred Abrahams as well as Member of Parliament for Christ Church South Ralph Thorne and Member of Parliament for Christ Church West Central Adrian Forde.

He said officials already had a good idea of who the vulnerable were, and they should be in new accommodation from today.

Residents urged to complete preparations as Tropical Storm Elsa forecast to impact island Minister of Home Affairs Wilfred Abrahams BRIDGETOWN, Barbados – Minister of Home Affairs Wilfred Abrahams and disaster preparedness officials here urged residents to move with urgency to get themselves and their properties in order ahead of Tropical Storm Elsa passing south of the island. With maximum sustained winds near 40 miles per hour, Tropical Storm Elsa is located about 680 miles east southeast of Barbados and is moving towards the west at 25 miles per hour. On its current forecast track, the storm center should pass about 40 miles to the south of Barbados on Friday morning.
