Issa: ‘You must abandon the dream of signing a nuclear agreement with Iran’ Getty Images Adam Kredo • May 25, 2021 6:30 pm The Iranian-backed terror group Hamas’s recent terror campaign against Israel is generating demands from Republican foreign policy leaders in Congress that the Biden administration immediately abandon its diplomacy with Iran aimed at cementing a revamped nuclear accord. Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad, another Iran-backed jihadist group, bombarded Israel with thousands of rockets over a two-week period before a ceasefire was announced late last week. As it happens, the weapon that destroyed that tower was a GBU-31, a Joint Direct Attack Munition, or JDAM (aka a “smart bomb”) that was manufactured in the United States. Not only that, but in the midst of the

The honeymoon is over

This month, deadly bombs rained down on Gaza, and rocket attacks wreaked destruction in Israel. In a metaphorical sense, on Capitol Hill and in the White House, explosive political predicaments
