A business located in rural Wexford is establishing itself as one of the country s premier producers of a liquid used to reduce harmful emissions from diesel vehicles.
EuroBlue, which is in Ballybrennan in Bree, was set up in 2016 by Edward Galavan. It makes Adblue, a product which treats nitrogen dioxide emissions in diesel vehicles and converts them to harmless nitrogen and water.
Edward and business development manager Leon Galvin explained the origins of the business. Before we started EuroBlue, the supply of Adblue in Ireland was dominated by imports and controlled by the large UK and European conglomerates. However, we saw an opportunity to produce it locally and offer users a more efficient, secure and customer-focused service. Thankfully, our customers have valued this and supported us in growing to where we are today.
