13:07 | Lima, Jan. 15. The Peruvian economy continued with its recovery process in November 2020, as national production decreased by 2.81% the smallest contraction since March of the same year the National Institute of Statistics and Informatics (INEI) reported on Friday.
According to INEI, the productive activity decreased by -12.39% in the January-November period of the analyzed year, whereas it did so by -11.16% in the annualized period (December 2019-November 2020).
The result in November was determined by lower production levels in the sectors: accommodation and restaurants (-41.31%); transportation, storage, and messaging (-21.88%); mining and hydrocarbons (-4.75%); manufacture (-4.19%); services provided to companies (-11.96%); commerce (-2.46%); fisheries (-0.68%); as well as electricity, gas, and water (-0.34%).
