Apple Valley s popular Sunset Concert Series, Fourth of July Freedom Festival and a multitude of recreational activities are returning to town after they were canceled last year amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
With San Bernardino County moving recently into the less-restrictive orange tier of the state s reopening framework, Apple Valley officials are now preparing to bring back the town s spring and summer entertainment and recreation offerings, with the concert series set for a June start.
Details are still in the works for the Apple Valley’s Summer Kickoff Celebration on May 29. Spokesperson Charlene Engeron said the event will include games and activities at many town parks.
