Growing up as a geeky church kid, Michael Boyce enjoyed science fiction – things like Star Trek, Star Wars, Dr. Who and Battlestar Galactica. Boyce, now a professor of English and film studies at Booth University College, never lost his interest in science fiction, or in how it intersects with Christianity.
