FRANCONIA, VA Hiring is underway for a future Amazon grocery store in Franconia.
The store will be located in a space over 31,000 square feet at the Festival at Manchester Lakes shopping center. Shoppers was the anchoring retailer at the shopping center before it closed in 2020. The former Shoppers space was split into the 31,000-square-foot grocery space, a vacant 16,000-square foot retail space, and the recently-opened Homesense.
A spokesperson could not confirm what type of store is opening or the anticipated opening date. The types of Amazon grocery stores include Amazon Fresh grocery stores and Amazon Go Grocery. More details will be shared at a later time.

The Cyber and Cloud Virtual Career Fair will focus on the information technology, cyber and cloud industries. Participation is free for job seekers and the FCEDA encourages professionals of all experience levels to participate. People with security clearances are particularly popular, although that is not a required qualification.
