Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health just opened its COVID-19 vaccination hub in Orangeville on Wednesday (Mar. 3).
Spokesperson, Danny Williamson says Public Health has been ahead of other health units and it’s largely thanks to teamwork with community partners.
Williamson explains Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health was one of the first health units to receive a deep freezer, which allowed it to also be among the first to receive Pfizer doses and by building its own pre-registration system, Public Health is ready to vaccinate more cohorts.
