Members of the public who were given appointments to receive their second doses of the COVID-19 vaccine at the Art Gallery in Queen’s Park, The City, on Thursday, April 29, and Friday, April 30, are informed of a change in venue.
Those vaccinations will now take place at the Winston Scott Polyclinic, Jemmotts Lane, St Michael.
The Ministry of Health and Wellness’ Immunisation Unit apologises for any inconvenience this change may cause.
Meanwhile, people are also asked to check their emails, including junk mail/spam, for the appointments for the second dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine.
The appointment notice is normally sent from the following email: [email protected] with the subject line: Appointment for Second Vaccination Dose.

The Ministry of Health and Wellness’ Immunisation Unit reminds members of the public that they will be contacted via email, text or telephone to receive an appointment for the second dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine.
While there is a date stated on the blue card, which is given to persons after the first dose, it is recommended that they wait until they receive confirmation from the Immunisation Unit as to when and where to go for the second shot.
Co-coordinator of the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, Major David Clarke, explained that this was being done for a few reasons.
