Eggs are being used to cause havoc on houses

Teenage boys have been throwing eggs at houses in Hatfield, according to police.
On Monday at around 7.20pm, a group of four teenage boys threw eggs at a house in Campion Road in the Hatfield Garden Village area of the town.
Then the group ran towards the A1(M) bridge but officers did not find them after searching the area.
Welwyn Hatfield Police said on Facebook: If your child returns home in an all-blue tracksuit with a red football top underneath you may want to have a word with them about their behaviour, and their choice of football club as they will likely support Arsenal, Man Utd or Liverpool.

A road closure was put in place on Tuesday night
Police were at the scene of a serious collision in Hatfield on Tuesday night.
Officers closed part of St Albans Road West in Ellenbrook, Welwyn Hatfield Police confirmed.
Motorists were advised to avoid the area.
Hertfordshire Constabulary said in an update on the incident at just after 7.30pm: We are currently at the scene of a serious collision in St Albans Road West, Ellenbrook, Hatfield. Road closures have been put in place and motorists are kindly advised to avoid the area and seek an alternative route.

Five fines were handed out to the occupants of an address in Hatfield which hosted a gathering.

COVID fines have been handed out to the occupants of an address where more than 20 people were in attendance earlier this month.
On January 12 Herts police were called in the early hours of this morning to reports of a large gathering at a student house in The Runway, Hatfield.
The occupants of the address have now been issued with five £200 COVID fines.
On a post on Facebook, Welwyn Hatfield Police said: In case it wasn t obvious, a FIFA Tournament is not a reason to break the current COVID rules.
