Carolyn “Dolly” Craft, 68 of Wellsburg, WV, suddenly passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 after surgery at UPMC Shadyside, Pittsburgh, PA.
Dolly was born on March 25, 1952 in Wheeling, WV. She was the daughter of Rita Bremer of Wellsburg, WV and the late Walter Bremer and her late birth mother, Angelina (Marchese) Mitchell.
Dolly retired after 19 years of work with the United States Postal Service as the Clerk at the Wellsburg Branch. Prior to the USPS, she worked as a hairdresser. Dolly was a member of the Wellsburg United Methodist Church and the Women of the Moose. Many will remember Dolly for her love of reading novels and educational books, being a straight shooter with a heart of gold; but most of all, always educating everyone whether it was on how to send mail or hairdressers on how to cut hair. Dolly made a huge impact in the community with her voice of education in a nontraditional field.
