I hereby determine and certify to the Congress that the following countries are not cooperating fully with United States antiterrorism efforts, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken wrote in a brief note, which listed Cuba along with Iran, the Democratic People s Republic of Korea, Syria and Venezuela.

Havana, May 26 (Prensa Latina) Cuba s Deputy Foreign Minister Anayansi Rodriguez on Wednesday received the Copies of Style of Mohamed Maher El-Adawy, which accredit him as the new Ambassador of Egypt to Cuba.
The two countries established diplomatic relations on September 5, 1949 but several sources point out that ties were strengthened after Ernesto Che Guevara s visit to Cairo in 1959.
On previous occasions, Rodriguez referred that during decades of bilateral ties, important achievements were made in terms of political agreement and exchanges in mutual interest fields such as economy, commerce, education and culture.

Cuba is vexed at the United States’ continued hostile approach towards the Latin American country, saying the policies of President Joe Biden’s administration are no different from those of his predecessor Donald Trump, despite earlier pledges of a policy shift.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has in a note to Congress once again accused Cuba, along with several other countries, including Venezuela, of not cooperating fully with United States anti-terrorism efforts.

Havana, May 23 (Prensa Latina) Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez on Sunday underscored the humanistic vocation of Cuban medical professionals, on the 58th anniversary of the country s international medical cooperation. On his official Twitter account, the head of Cuban diplomacy recalled how in light of the Covid-19 pandemic, 57 brigades from the Henry Reeve Contingent of Physicians Specialized in Situations of Disaster and Serious Epidemics saved thousands of lives in 40 countries and territories. Cuba s collaboration has ennobled the Revolution s solidarity and internationalism in 58 years, Rodriguez tweeted, adding that our physicians represent the humanistic vocation of Cuba.
