Amid a series of protests and condemnations in the Arab world as Israel and Hamas continue to fight, and anti-Israel rallies in some western cities too, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi on Friday thanked their leadership counterparts in the US and Europe for their support.
“I would like to say a word of appreciation to our friend President [Joe] Biden and to other friends,” said Netanyahu in a Friday afternoon video message, citing “the president of France, the British prime minister, the chancellor of Austria, the chancellor of Germany and others.
It also condemned the Israeli occupation forces continuation of their colonial programmes

The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation has condemned Israel and reiterated support for Palestinians, as fatal unrest escalates.
The OIC condemns in the strongest terms the repeated attacks by the Israeli occupation authorities against the Palestinian people , the pan-Islamic body based in the Saudi city of Jeddah said in a statement on Tuesday after an emergency session.

Saudi Arabia and Jordan called on Tuesday for effective international efforts to protect Palestinians from Israeli attacks and violations.
Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and his Jordanian counterpart Ayman Safadi held a telephone call to emphasize the need of develop an effective international effort to protect the Palestinians from Israeli attacks and violations. They also discussed boosting their bilateral relations.
The statement said the two ministers condemned illegal Israeli practices , warning that continued Israeli aggression and the eviction of Palestinian families from their homes will have consequences on the regional security and stability.
