The order was issued at 2:20 p.m. for residents in neighborhoods in east Flagstaff, including Mount Elden Estates, Paradise, Grandview and Sunnyside, the county said. If outdoors, residents were advised to seek high ground immediately, the county said. The National Weather Service in Flagstaff issued a flash flood warning for about 83,800 residents of Flagstaff, Doney Park and Winona that lasted until 5:45 p.m.
