Ocean lovers flock to the cold waters of Washington to view its abundance of life like Puget Sound s resident orcas pods and spawning salmon in rivers.
And a new breed of aquatic enthusiasts are hearing the siren call thanks to the state s newest attraction in Westport: the International Mermaid Museum.
Located on the grounds of Westport Winery Garden Resort between Aberdeen and Westport, the museum opened its doors on March 29 with the help of local mermaid pods from Seattle and Portland who made guest appearances.
