Turner & Hooch Season 1: Meet the French Mastiffs playing Hooch on Disney+ legacy sequel

The series will be quite similar to the 1989 movie and follows US Marshal Scott Turner (Josh Peck) inheriting an unruly dog named Hooch. The duo and the rest of the Turner family discover that Josh’s father’s death may not have been accidental. For the uninitiated, Tom Hanks portrays the father of Peck in the series. However, the actor won’t be a part of the series because it is shown that he died after the events of the original movie. Tom Hanks and Beasley the Dog in Turner & Hooch (Disney/IMDb)   The biggest part of the show is the chemistry between the US Marshal and the dog that he inherits. Fans loved the original movie because of how Hanks and the dog, whose name was Beasley, put a smile on their faces with their friendship. Beasley became really popular after the movie and featured in a lot of projects. He died in 1992 at age 14.

Westminster dog show: Steuben County woman and basset hound honored

Elmira Star-Gazette Odin doesn t need anyone to tell him he s a good boy. He s got the awards to prove it. Odin, a purebred basset hound owned by Novia Staviski, of Lindley, had a chance to take part in the prestigious Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show over the weekend and even picked up an honor. Odin, whose official registered name is GCH (Grand Champion) Renaissance Versailles, captured an award of merit in Best of Breed competition for basset hounds during the nationally televised event. Just having an opportunity to compete at that level is a real thrill, said Staviski, who adopted the now-6-year-old dog from a Michigan breeder when he was a puppy.
