On the Town: Rebuilding Together helps neighbors in need By: Lillie-Beth Brinkman The Journal Record April 15, 2021 Lillie-Beth Brinkman More than 100 volunteers will gather April 24 to repair nine Oklahoma City metro-area homes as part of Rebuilding Together OKC’s National Rebuilding Month Initiative. These homes will receive critical home repairs to help some of our most vulnerable neighbors – seniors, veterans, people with disabilities and other families in need. With the pandemic, ice storms, record low temperatures, it has been a tough year, said Lauren Sullivan, Rebuilding Together’s executive director, in a news release. “Our organization is proud to help restore the homes and dignity of our neighbors who need it most,” she said.
