A graveside service with military honors for David Wayne Byrd, 72, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, at Crown Hill Cemetery. There will be no formal visitation, however friends may pay their respects and sign the guest book between 12 noon and 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12, at Heckart Funeral Home.
A memorial service for Martha A. Bridges, 94, of Sedalia, will be held at Wesley United Methodist Church Saturday, Feb. 13. Arrangements are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home.
The family of Barbara Ann Gregory, 66, Warsaw, formerly of Branson, will receive friends beginning at 1 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 12 at the First Baptist Church in Cole Camp with funeral services to be held at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Fox Funeral Home.

More than 250 people attended a COVID-19 vaccine drive-through event Jan. 22 at Wesley United Methodist Church in Greenville to receive the initial dose of a vaccine against the virus. The local hospital system is preparing this week to fully vaccinate more Hunt County residents against COVID-19 during two events.
Hunt Regional Healthcare reported Monday that it would be administering a second dose of the vaccine to individuals who received the initial dose during a drive-through COVID-19 vaccination event Jan. 22 at Wesley United Methodist Church in Greenville. A total of 270 vaccinations were planned to be given during the event.

DAVENPORT, Iowa For more than a decade, a Davenport church has been serving up meals for people who are homeless.
Tom and Sandy Lagomarcino are heading up the efforts recently at Bethel Wesley United Methodist Church. Usually, they d serve up dinner at King s Harvest shelter. But with COVID, they re now making deliveries to a hotel, where King s Harvest is putting people up and getting them off the streets.

Interment for Lawrence Wayne “Larry” Wendel, 69, of Sedalia, will take place at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home.
