Some of the candidates running against incumbent Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan. Detroit’s primary election is Tuesday, Aug. 3, but you might not know it. In the mayor’s race, it hardly seems like the mighty Mayor Mike Duggan is even campaigning. But he doesn’t have to he’s expected to handily win re-election for his third term. In fact, his campaign did not respond to numerous requests to answer a brief questionnaire that Metro Times sent to all the candidates in the Mayoral, City Clerk, and City Council races.
