3rd man charged in connection with Yarmouth County homicide

Nova Scotia RCMP have charged a third person in the homicide of 26-year-old Colton James Cook, who was reported missing on Sept. 27.
Some of Cook s remains were located near the intersection of Saunders Road and Raynardton Road in South Ohio, Yarmouth County, on Sept. 29. Partial remains had been discovered two days earlier near his burned-out white pickup truck.
HALIFAX A third person has been charged in connection with the murder of a man in Nova Scotia’s Yarmouth County. Colton James Cook, 26, was reported missing from Brooklyn, N.S., on Sept. 27. Later that day, police found partial remains near his burned truck in Yarmouth, N.S. Two days later, police found Cook’s identifiable remains near the intersection of Saunders Road and Raynardton Road in South Ohio, N.S. Keith Arthur Siscoe, 35, of Yarmouth County was arrested Wednesday in Lunenburg County. He has been charged with accessory after the fact to murder. Siscoe appeared via teleconference Wednesday evening and was held in custody. He was set to appear Thursday morning in Shelburne provincial court.
HALIFAX RCMP are asking for help identifying the drivers of two vehicles in connection with the murder of a man in Nova Scotia’s Yarmouth County. Colton Cook, 26, was reported missing from Brooklyn, N.S., on Sept. 27. Later that day, police found partial remains near his burned truck in Yarmouth, N.S. Two days later, police found more identifiable remains near the intersection of Saunders Road and Raynardton Road in South Ohio, N.S. Police are investigating the case as a homicide and are looking for the drivers of two vehicles that were seen in the South Ohio area on Sept. 26. Police are calling the drivers “persons of interest” in the case.

A Nova Scotia RCMP major crime unit is asking for the public s help in identifying two vehicles in their investigation into the Colton Cook homicide.
Partial remains and his burned white pickup truck were found on Sept. 27.

An RCMP news release Monday said a dark grey single-cab Ford Ranger and an older-model small silver sedan were seen in South Ohio on Sept. 26 and police believe the drivers of the vehicles may be able to help them in their investigation.
