When officers asked for his ID, he refused, for which violators can be arrested. Anderson says he tried to walk away as officers surrounded him. “Next thing I know, I’m just on the ground getting kneed in my ribcage,” he said.

Court records detail how Ocean City Boardwalk vaping incidents turned violent

Three videos of two incidents, which occurred Saturday, June 12, and Sunday, June 6 on the boardwalk, began circulating on social media over the weekend, sparking outrage. One of the videos connected to the June 12 incident shows an officer using his knee to repeatedly strike a 19-year-old who is being restrained on the ground as an officer demands that he give them his hands. At least four 19-year-olds were arrested in that incident and additional footage captured by bystanders shows a Taser being used on one of them.
