Longtime La Crosse County employee named health director May 10, 2021 8:10 PM Mike Tighe Updated: Audra Martine, who was one of two finalists for the job after a nationwide search, will take the director reins officially on May 24. (La Crosse County Health Department photo) LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) Audra Martine, deputy director of the La Crosse County Human Services Department, has been appointed as the new county health director. Martine, who has worked for the county since 2003, will take over for Associate County Administrator Jane Klekamp, who has been interim director of the health department since Jen Rombalski left in February to take a position with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.
