OSDH: 1,296 New COVID-19 Cases, 38 More Virus-Related Deaths Reported

Tuesday, February 2nd 2021, 11:02 am By: LeighAnne Manwarren Thirty-eight more virus-related deaths and 1,296 new coronavirus cases were reported in the state since Monday, according to daily numbers released by the Oklahoma State Department of Health. A total of 392,164 Oklahomans have tested positive for COVID-19 and the total number of virus-related deaths increased to 3,602, the state health department said on Tuesday. The seven-day rolling average for new cases reported was 2,249, the state health department said. As of Friday, 373,279 total vaccine doses have been administered and 511,350 total doses have been received by the state. More than 58,200 Oklahomans have completed both inoculations. Nine people died in Oklahoma County; a man aged 50 to 64 and six women and two men aged 65 or older.
