Thirty-eight more virus-related deaths and 1,296 new coronavirus cases were reported in the state since Monday, according to daily numbers released by the Oklahoma State Department of Health.
A total of 392,164 Oklahomans have tested positive for COVID-19 and the total number of virus-related deaths increased to 3,602, the state health department said on Tuesday.
The seven-day rolling average for new cases reported was 2,249, the state health department said.
As of Friday, 373,279 total vaccine doses have been administered and 511,350 total doses have been received by the state. More than 58,200 Oklahomans have completed both inoculations.
Nine people died in Oklahoma County; a man aged 50 to 64 and six women and two men aged 65 or older.

On Jan. 13, Gov. Kevin Stitt amended his executive order to remove the 11 p.m. curfew for bars and restaurants to stop in-person service. This happened after a judge ruled a temporary restraining order be in place until July to allow the lawsuit to proceed.
The governor announced teachers or students who are exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 will not have to quarantine as long as that exposure happened in a classroom setting and all protocols were being followed. Those protocols include wearing masks, social distancing, and maintaining recommended cleaning measures.

33 more virus-related deaths and 2,373 new coronavirus cases were reported in the state since Friday, according to daily numbers released by the Oklahoma State Department of Health.
A total of 386,590 Oklahomans have tested positive for COVID-19 since the pandemic began and the total number of virus-related deaths increased to 3,504 the state health department said on Saturday. So far, 354,223 Oklahomans have recovered from the virus with 2,678 more cases considered recovered since Friday. Health officials said recovered means the patient is not hospitalized or deceased and it has been 14 days since the onset of symptoms or report.
