Secretary General of the Vanuatu Christian Council (VCC) Pastor Shem Tema, has called on all Christians in Vanuatu to celebrate Christmas in peace and unity.
He urges heads of families to ensure everyone, especially their children and women find peace and harmony this festive season.
âThere is no greater calling from the VCC to all families in Vanuatu than to urge heads of families and men in both towns of Port Vila and Santo and in all villages of Vanuatu to refrain from worldly celebrations and return to the true God of our fathers and celebrate in peace, in unity and harmony,â is the message from the VCC SG.

Melanesian Spearhead Group talks partnership with China
The Melanesian Spearhead Group s (MSG) Secretariat has begun talks with China on possible partnership arrangements.
A meeting was held at the Chinese Embassy in Vanuatu s capital Port Vila where the MSG secretariat is also located.
A new multi-lateral approach is being heralded by the MSG secretariat, representing the group s five full members Fiji, Vanuatu, Solomon Islands, PNG and New Caledonia s Kanaks.
