SUST student’s hanging body found at his residence in Magura The hanging body of a student of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) was found at his residence in Mohammadpur upazila of Magura on Monday night. On information, police recovered the body of Towhidul Alam Protay, was a student of 2017-18 session of Physics Department of the university, from the second floor of Swapnil Super Market adjacent to Akhalia Nayabazar around 9:00 pm. Mohammad Nazmul Huda, officer-in-charge (OC) of Jalalabad police station, confirmed the matter and said police initially suspected it was a suicide. The actual facts will be known after getting the medical report, he said.

SUST student found dead in Sylhet Star Digital Report Star Digital Report Police have recovered the body of a student of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) from a mess adjacent to the university at Nayabazar area of Akhalia in Sylhet. The deceased was identified as Tauhidul Alam Prattay (22), a third-year physics department student, reports our Sylhet correspondent quoting police. Prattay was from Magura district s Mohammadpur area. After receiving a 999 call, police recovered his body around 9:00 pm on Monday from room 6 on the the first floor of Shwapnil Super Market, where students had formed a mess, said Mohammad Nazmul Huda Khan, officer-in-charge of Jalalabad Police Station.

Inauguration of new AC Bus for SUST Officials SUST Correspondent : A new AC bus has been inaugurated for the officials of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology. The bus was inaugurated by the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Farid Uddin Ahmed in front of the Registrar Building of the University at 10 am on Wednesday (February 3). Congratulating the newly elected committee of the Officers’ Association during the inauguration, the Vice-Chancellor said, ‘Since taking office, we have added new buses for teachers, students, officers, and employees in the transport pool of the university. In the future, more buses will be added to the transport pool to facilitate the travel of all those associated with the university.’
