Jura commences gas production from Guddu block in Pakistan

Jura Energy has announced the production of first gas from the Reti-Maru gas fields in the Guddu block, Pakistan.
According to the company, initial production is being controlled to allow buyer and seller facilities testing, commissioning, as well as pipeline packing.
Jura anticipates gross production to reach 12MMcfd in January 2014, once fully brought on-stream after the commissioning period. We will look forward to utilising the cash flows to accelerate value realization for shareholders.
The company is selling the gas to Pakistani fertiliser company Engro Fertilizers as the representative of a consortium of fertilizer companies pursuant to a gas sale agreement it entered in March 2013.
HARIPUR: The local police have arrested a man for allegedly molesting a teenage girl in the city area here.
A Mohallah Dokana Pandak resident told the city police that he was busy helping his wife in home chores when his 13-year-old daughter went missing from home at around 9pm on Friday.
The complainant said he searched for her in the neighbourhood and houses of the relatives, but found no clue to her. However, after a couple of hours, he said the girl was found crying outside the under-construction house of a neighbour namely Abdul Hameed.
When we inquired she disclosed that their neighbour, Shahid Hameed dragged her inside his under-construction house and raped her, the complainant said, adding the girl said the accused threatened her of dire consequences if she disclosed the incident to anyone.
