AVON, N.Y. (WHEC) The Livingston County Sheriffs Office Thursday announced the arrest of a man on numerous child sex abuse charges, with accused offenses dating back to the 1980s.
In a release, deputies say they arrested and charged Frank Wright, 75 of Allegany County last Thursday.
INITIAL CALL REVEALS SURVIVORS
On October 5, 2020, deputies went to a home in the Village of Avon for the report of sexual abuse that occurred when the caller was a young child. The caller told deputies she was sexually abused in the late 1990s by an individual who was known to her.

An inmate at the Bexar County jail died early Thursday, officials said.
A detention deputy serving food trucks discovered Ryan Oshea, 35, who was being held on an out-of-county warrant for assault causing bodily injury, attempting to commit suicide at 2:03 a.m.
The deputy called for assistance and began performing life-saving measures until medical staff arrived, according to the Bexar County Sheriff s Office.
A Buford man was arrested Thursday evening by Hall County Sheriff’s Office Deputies and is facing cruelty to children charges after he reportedly injured his infant son.
According to a press release from the Sheriff’s Office, an investigation determined that 34-year-old Bryan Oswaldo Morales caused fractures to both of the baby’s legs.
The release states the incident happened on Wednesday, Jan. 13, at Morales’ home in the 5,000 block of Magnolia Way in Buford.
Investigators believe Morales was home alone with the baby on Wednesday. When the baby’s mother returned home Wednesday evening, she took the baby to the emergency room after seeing him in distress, according to the release.
