A 46-year-old Bunnell woman stole more than two dozen items ranging from home decor to a wheelbarrow from a thrift store owned by the St. Mary Catholic Church, Flagler County Sheriff s Office detectives discovered.
“We are continuing to investigate the other thefts and asking the community to contact us if they recognize this vehicle or these suspects.”

The woman, Angelia Newsome, was arrested Feb. 18. Other thefts from the thrift store are still unsolved.
“Our detectives did a great job in locating this suspect and returning the stolen property,“ Sheriff Rick Staly said. “We are continuing to investigate the other thefts and asking the community to contact us if they recognize this vehicle or these suspects.”

FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – A Flagler County woman is accused of child neglect after a 3-year-old boy was found walking alone with a dog near a high-traffic intersection, according to the sheriff’s office.
Deputies responded to Bellaire Drive and Beechwood Lane in Palm Beach Tuesday around 1:13 p.m. after a concerned citizen called 911 reporting a lone wandering toddler with a small dog.
According to a news release from the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office, the 911 caller stood with the child until deputies arrived. The witness told deputies they saw the child walk “dangerously close” to a high-traffic area near Belle Terre Parkway and Bellaire Drive.

Two people a woman from Canton, Florida, and a man from Palm Coast have been arrested on charges of stealing packages from local porches.
The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence on Kalamazoo Trail on Feb. 9 in reference to a larceny. The victim told deputies that she had Ring video surveillance of a woman, later identified as Kimberly Dowdy, 26, stealing packages from her front door.

Hours later, FCSO responded to a residence on Kashmir Trail for a similar incident. The victim showed deputies video captured on her Ring video surveillance that again showed Dowdy walk up to the home and steal packages. However, this time, deputies were able to identify Dowdy’s vehicle, a gold Cadillac.
