(WMC) - Tennessee topped more than 700,000 COVID-19 cases Friday since the start of the pandemic. The Tennessee Department of Health reported 4,064 new cases Friday and 93 additional deaths. So far, 701,847 Tennesseans have contracted the virus and 8,777 have died. More than 646,144 have recovered, leaving nearly 47,000 active cases across the state. More than 2,300 are currently hospitalized with complications from the virus.

(WMC) - Tennessee reported 128 additional deaths from COVID-19 Thursday and 3,492 new cases. According to the Tennessee Department of Health, 8,684 Tennesseans have died from complications with the virus and 697,783 have contracted it since the start of the pandemic. There are 49,655 active cases in Tennessee while 2,513 people are currently hospitalized. As of Monday, more than 370,895 vaccinations have occurred across the state, but only about 53,000 have received the second dose. The Shelby County Health Department reported 432 new coronavirus cases and 14 new COVID-19 deaths across the county on Thursday.

(WMC) - More than 2,000 new COVID-19 cases were reported across Tennessee Tuesday. The Tennessee Department of Health says the state has seen a total of 689,808 cases since the beginning of the pandemic. The death toll also increased by 40 with the total now reaching 8,470. Data from TDH shows there are more than 57,000 active coronavirus cases in Tennessee at this time. Current hospitalizations are sitting at 2,647 as Tennesseans battle COVID-19.
