MEMPHIS, Tenn. UPDATE 6/30/2021 - 32-year-old Demitrious Davis has been charged after detectives said he hit a deputy Tuesday night.
Davis was shot by the deputy during the incident and both he and the officer were taken to Regional One in non-critical.
Davis is charged with criminal attempt: 1st degree murder, felony evading, convicted felon in possession of a handgun, and tampering w/ evidence.
