The Chattanooga Area Food Bank raised $47,000 during the 2021 HullaBOWLoo Auction. Deskrig specializes in making virtual presentations and events look more professional, and they donated their software and resources to make the auction virtual for the first time.
The annual auction raises funds and educates the community about food insecurity. The money raised will be used to purchase food for the Chattanooga Area Food Bank’s 20-county service area.

At this month’s regular meeting, the Board of Trustees for Johnson County School District #1 considered and approved the district’s employment recommendations as presented to them.
Approved were the resignation of Morgan Kremers as assistant volleyball coach at Clear Creek Middle School, effective immediately.
The retirement of a number of teachers from various schools in the district were also approved for John Hepp, Ron Chapin, Clark Chesbro, and Shelley Armstrong that will take effect at the end of the 2020-2021 school year.
A salary advancement for Aaron Mines was also approved, moving from a BA+30 to MA.
