SANDWICH The Sandwich Boardwalk is a major tourist attraction, but plans are in play to replace the iconic structure despite opposition from local advocacy groups.
In an effort to garner feedback from the public, the Sandwich Board of Selectmen held a virtual workshop Thursday evening on the proposed boardwalk plans.

The new boardwalk would look vastly different, with a higher elevation, but Kaslow said the necessary changes to the structure are practical more than cosmetic.
