The Watkins Glen Elks Club raised $4,000 for the Schuyler Hospital Foundation, and $1,500 for the Schuyler County Volunteer Ambulance Association. Schuyler Hospital President Rebecca Gould says the money will be used to keep the community and residents at the Seneca View Skilled Nursing Facility out of harm’s way. 3 months ago in Local jsalzone Photo: WHCU ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) – Seneca View Skilled Nursing Facility in Montour Falls is reporting an increase in active COVID-19 positive cases. Schuyler Hospital officials say there’s 18 known positive cases at Seneca View, 14 of which are experiencing no symptoms. They say the positive cases were detected because of rigorous testing which was implemented at the onset of the pandemic. Seneca View says it is in continuous contact with families of the residents and answering all questions. Schuyler Hospital President Rebecca Gould says they’re continuing to maintain stringent safety standards set forth by the State Department of Health.
