ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) – A donation to Schuyler Hospital will help cover costs for additional personal protective equipment during the ongoing pandemic.
The Watkins Glen Elks Club raised $4,000 for the Schuyler Hospital Foundation, and $1,500 for the Schuyler County Volunteer Ambulance Association. Schuyler Hospital President Rebecca Gould says the money will be used to keep the community and residents at the Seneca View Skilled Nursing Facility out of harm’s way.
Prior to Christmas, the facility reported 18 residents and staff tested positive for COVID-19. Tags:
