COUNCIL bosses have teamed up with a marketing company for a campaign to urge people to stick to Covid rules as tourism reopens. Wyre Forest District Council has joined forces with public relations experts Citizen Communication for the publicity drive, entitled Keep Playing Your Part. The move comes as the region’s many tourist attractions begin to return to business after months in lockdown. A photo and video shoot showing off the area’s top attractions, such as the Severn Valley Railway and West Midlands Safari Park, has been compiled, and adverts urging people to keep washing their hands, wear a face mask and socially distance have been posted in local papers and on the side of council refuse collection lorries.
