Scottish Renewables, the industry body for Scotland’s renewable energy sector, has announced the appointment of Adam Morrison as its new chairman. Mr Morrison, who will serve for a three year term, is the project director for Moray West Offshore Wind Farm at Ocean Winds and who previously served as a co-opted member of Scottish Renewables’ Board in 2018 before re-joining in 2020.

Suffolk County Council s cabinet on Tuesday afternoon agreed a new energy response policy in light of the growing number of nationally significant energy generation projects eyeing Suffolk locations. So far, those include the Sizewell C nuclear energy facility, Scottish Renewables offshore windfarms off the coast and a handful of solar farms near Ipswich and in West Suffolk.
