15 deaths, 115 new covid19 cases detected

The Health Ministry has announced an additional 15 deaths due to covid19, along with 115 cases detected from samples taken between July 3 and 6.
The death toll is now 918.
In its covid19 update on Wednesday, the ministry said the people who died were six elderly men, three elderly women, two middle-aged men, one middle-aged woman, and one young adult man, all with comorbidities, as well as two middle-aged men without comorbidities.
There are 6,244 active cases.
Since March 2020, there have been 33,920 cases of covid19, of which 26,758 have recovered.
There are 334 people in hospital, five fewer than on Tuesday. Of these, 96 are at the Couva Hospital and Multi-Training Facility, with 12 in the intensive care unit and 24 in the high dependency unit. There are 39 at the Caura Hospital, 47 at the Augustus Long Hospital, seven at the St Ann’s Hospital, 49 at the Arima General Hospital, 42 at the new Point Fortin Hospit

Health Ministry: 11 deaths, 185 new covid19 cases

Eleven people have died from covid19 increasing total deaths to 833, the Health Ministry reported on Tuesday. The dead were six elderly men, three elderly women, and two middle-aged men, all with comorbidities.
The ministry also said there are 185 new cases which were detected in samples taken between June 25-28. The total since March 2020 is now 32, 528. However, active cases continue to decline and is now 7,177.
There are 389 people in hospital, 12 less than Monday. Of these, 107 are at the Couva Hospital and Multi-Training Facility, with six in the intensive care unit and 47 in the high dependency unit. June deadliest month for covid19 to date

JUNE has been the deadliest month for covid19 patients to date, with a total of 327 deaths, one more than May, previously the highest total of the pandemic.
Five deaths due to covid19 were reported on Monday, bringing TT s death toll to 822. An additional 145 new cases were detected from samples taken between June 24-27.
The Health Ministry’s covid19 update on Monday said the people who died were three elderly men, one elderly woman, and one middle-aged man, all with comorbidities.
There are 7,351 active cases.
Since March 2020, there have been 32,343 cases of covid19. Of these, 24,170 have recovered.
