Schuyler County Public Health and the Great Escape Ice Cream Parlor are partnering to hold a Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine clinic. The clinic will take place on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. Attendees will receive the one-time Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine along with a sundae from Great Escape – all at no cost to them.
“The Great Escape Ice Cream Parlor is such a great partner to work with for this clinic and we can’t thank them enough for donating free sundaes for people who come to get vaccinated,” shared Schuyler County Public Health Director Annmarie Flanagan DNP, FNP-C. “Come by to enjoy the summer weather, a free sundae, and protection from COVID-19.”

Schuyler County Public Health and Schuyler Hospital are providing an update on vaccination efforts in Schuyler County. To date, Schuyler County Public Health and Schuyler Hospital have provided 1,260 people with their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
“The number of vaccine doses local health departments, hospitals, and pharmacies are receiving is still very small” Schuyler County Public Health Director Deborah Minor stated. “I know everyone is anxious to get vaccinated as soon as possible, but I ask that you please be patient. Vaccination locations are adding clinics and opening registration as soon as they have doses available.”
