Funding for new FMCW lidar developer agreed with participation of Scania Growth Capital.
Scantinel develops FMCW LiDAR sensors.Former Zeiss LiDAR startup Scantinel Photonics has received further growth financing through Scania Growth Capital. The Zeiss Ventures portfolio company develops Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) LiDAR sensors for next-generation LiDAR systems for applications in autonomous vehicles. The amount and terms of the funding were not disclosed.

Berlin, January 14th, 2021 – sennder, Europe’s leading digital road freight forwarder, announced that it has raised $160m in Series D financing, surpassing a $1bn valuation. New investors led the round, which involved all of sennder’s existing investors who reaffirmed their confidence in the company vision and direction. Round participants included Accel, Lakestar, HV Capital, Project A and Scania. To date, sennder has raised more than $260m.
