SCITUATE – A fix to long-running water issues may be in the works for senior housing complex Rockland Oaks, says Scituate Housing Authority Chairman Terrell Parker, as rust-colored water continues to flow in the western half of the facility. Parker said the property manager, Pauline Galbreath of Rural Consulting, brought in a plumbing company to take another look at the water system at the 24-unit housing complex. Half of the complex has clear running water, while the other half continues to have the rust-colored water that’s plagued the facility for years. Galbreath and the SHA had hoped a flush of a water heater would clear up the rusty water, but did not, said Parker.
