Disputes happen between countries on a daily basis. Unfortunately, some are fought on battlefields and lead to deaths. But most end up in courtrooms or arbitration hearings, and it takes a certain expertise to understand how the laws of other nations work, and modifications that have been made.
On Jan. 15, ASU’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law is hosting the Schiefelbein Global Dispute Resolution Conference.
Topics include Indigenous International Dispute Resolution and COVID-19 Class and Mass Disputes.
The Show spoke with the conference’s organizer, Professor Victoria Sahani who is also an associate dean at the O’Connor College and Professor Betsy Grey, who will be moderating the COVID-19 panel.
