A 45-year veteran of the travel industry, Jean is the president of Plaza Travel Center, a woman-owned business currently celebrating its 50th anniversary.
Jean has traveled extensively throughout the world and is called upon frequently to share her expertise with the public. She was an adjunct instructor of travel and tourism at University College of Syracuse University and Schenectady County Community College.

Wixted, a technical specialist in Schenectady County Community College’s Department of Hotel, Culinary Arts and Tourism, is anxious to spread the news. As project coordinator of the New York State Hospitality Grant, which has been charged with running one-day seminars for food service personnel, Wixted does not think some establishments know about the new rule.

Saratoga Springs native has done sound engineering for films, TV; he’s about to make directorial debut

Growing up in Saratoga Springs, Matt Rocker saw everything as an instrument.
When recording a demo tape as a kid, he’d play some chords on his acoustic guitar, loop drum fills off his Casio keyboard’s drum machine, record it all with a four-track recorder and mix it down with an old-school reel-to-reel tape deck. He did what he could to make music, and oftentimes that meant getting a little innovative.
