Corrigan a Stamford native is survived by his wife, Ester, his stepchildren and son-in-law. Captain Philip Hayes wrote about Corrigan’s impact in a post on the department’s website. He said Corrigan “touched countless lives and will forever be remembered for his compassion and relentless drive to make a difference for others.” “His infectious personality and tireless work ethic quickly made him a favorite among his peers,” Hayes said.
