New plans have been submitted for a shop near The Boars Head PLANS have been drawn up to create a convenience store near to a pub. Proposals have been sent to St Helens Council for a new shop to be situated near to The Boars Head pub, on Elton Head Road. Plans, submitted by asset management company Cordage 10 Ltd, seek permission for a shop to be served by a new vehicle access, off Lowfield Lane, with the creation of a shared car park for use by the store and the existing pub. The proposed store would have an L-shaped footprint, plans say.
