Family, police gather to ‘reclaim for community’ site of fatal shooting
FAIRFIELD Family members and more than a half-dozen police officers assembled Monday to reclaim for the community the location of a recent fatal shooting.
“We come together this day to reclaim this space of death as a place of life,” the Rev. David Isom said as part of the Moment of Blessing ceremony held at an apartment complex on Grande Circle.
